Founded in 1925, the Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare serves as an educational organization for social welfare in Mississippi. MCSW offers merit awards for exemplary work and scholarships to social work students committed to ensuring the social well-being of all persons.
The Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare also strives to promote social well-being by:
Utilizing methods and principles of social service administration
Promoting coordination of social service agencies
Increasing efficiency by assisting persons and institutions
