Start thinking now about nominating award winners for 2012. Do not miss this opportunity to nominate the individual and agency that has gone over and beyond the call duty to improve lives.

In order to be eligible to receive this award, the nominees must meet the following criteria:

• A nominee must be a member of MCSW and be in good standing with the Conference, and dues must be current.
• The nominee’s uniqueness of services or contributions will be considered.
• Advocacy efforts and creative measures used to effect social change are also areas of consideration.
• The impact the nominee’s contribution has on the community’s service delivery system and the field of social welfare/social service will be assessed.

In order to bestow this honor on an individual and agency that has made a significant impact in social welfare or social services, nominate them for the Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare Merit Award. To nominate that special individual, please submit a narrative that includes above-mentioned criteria along with corroborating details about why this individual deserves such an honor.
